- Android
Is a mobile operating system initially developed by Android Inc. Android was purchased by Google in 2005. Unit sales for Android OS smartphones ranked first among all smartphone OS handsets sold in the U.S. in the second and third quarters of 2010, with a third quarter market share of 43.6%.
- BLOG
A blog is a conjunction of weB LOG. A blog is normally maintained by an individual with regular entries of commentary. Most blogs are interactive which allow visitors to comment and interact with the author and sometimes other visitors.
The term weblog was coined by Jorn Barger on 17 December 1997. The short form, blog, was coined by Peter Merholz in April 1999.
- REAXML
Refers to the Australian defacto standard of transfering property data to and from websites. The format is in XML and more can be learnt about it from Realestate.com.au.
- Project Marketing
refers to the specialised process of marketing real estate developments. It is often utilised to market land estates, highrise buildings, gated communities and other specalist real estate products.
- SEM
Search Engine Marketing is a form of Internet marketing that promotes websites by paying search engines like Google to place advertisements in strategic places within search results. These adverts seek to encourgae customers to click on them to proceed through to the website, thus increasing traffic. SEM is often charged based on the number of clicks on the advert.
- SEO
Search Engine Optimisation refers to the process of improving the visibility of a website to search engines. This improved visibilty can result in the website appearing higher up in the search results for given keywords. This is turn is likely to result in more visitors to the website.
